    About us

    Vision

Water is our element. Clean water and wastewater worldwide, at economical prices, technically robust and reliable. As passionate engineers and technicians, we contribute to human well-being and economic development by designing and implementing customized water treatment projects. We do not see our activity as a job or a business, we see our professions as a vocation and a mission in life. We always work with full commitment and find challenging and unconventional solutions to complex problems and difficult boundary conditions.

    Service areas

Saygin & Stein engineering GmbH (S&S) specializes in developing sophisticated and unconventional solutions for complex and critical water engineering problems. In this context, engineering services are provided for the customer. Individual engineering activities (consulting, development, planning, project management, construction supervision, operational support and optimization) as well as complex projects up to the construction of turnkey plants can be carried out as general contractor for the customer. The classic engineering tasks (planning, procurement, construction management, commissioning, operations management and overall project management) are performed with our own personnel. The manufacture and shipment of the necessary components is carried out by the international partner network of suppliers. Construction services and installation personnel are procured on the local market or provided by the customer.

    Clarifier

Mr. Hohmann started his career as a measuring-regulating mechanic. Since 1980 he has been working in the water industry, first as a measuring-regulating-mechanic, since 1986 as a wastewater master. He studied part-time to become a vocational and occupational educator.

After the flood disaster in the west of Germany in 2021, Mr. Hohmann was immediately active as an unattached helper in the acute phase at the Nürburgring. On site, Mr. Hohmann got to know his colleagues Mr. Saygin and Stein; after a coffee together and a plant tour, Mr. Hohmann joined the German Red Cross as a wastewater treatment specialist. Since the foundation of Saygin & Stein engineering GmbH he has been working as a freelancer.
